Renesmee Carlie "Nessie" Cullen's Character & Personality

Renesmee was born in 2006 to Bella and Edward Cullen. As such, she's the resident vampire/human hybrid of the Olympic coven. Renesmee is also the imprintee of Jacob. She's three and a half months old but looks eleven due to rapid growth. Renesmee's growth will stop at seven years, making her look like seventeen or so; then she'll live for centuries, or more. She has all the same general characteristics of a vampire, but not as potent. In addition, Renesmee has two gifts: tactical thought projection and shield penetration. She can place her thoughts, memories, images and feelings into others' minds through physical contact. Renesmee can even unconsciously do this while asleep with her dreams. Finally, she can penetrate others' mental defenses while "communicating" with them. Renesmee is a kind, brave, headstrong and fun-loving child. As a vampire's mind is highly superior to a human's, her mind goes into high gear before birth; she finds out her movements are hurting her mother and tries to stop. Additionally, Renesmee likes to hear her parents' voices and shows affection towards her soulmate. After she's born, she learns the vampire laws and limitations quickly while understanding their consequences. Renesmee can perfectly memorize anything she sees or experiences and understands people without much difficulty. Thus, she's more intelligent than most adults and has better control over her thirst than any vampire. Renesmee is fascinated by everyone around her, despite their being different species. She mostly prefers not to speak and uses her power to communicate with others instead because she finds words insufficient to describe her feelings. However, Renesmee will talk if she has to or if she's unable to touch someone. Beyond this, she has a competitive streak as she always accepts hunting challenges, which keep her motivated to drink animal blood. Renesmee enjoys reading books and listening to music. Due to this, she likes to hear bedtime stories but hates hearing the same ones twice, expecting to hear new ones every time. Renesmee learns to play piano from her dad, too.

Tiny Review: Heretic 2024. Thought-provoking religious horror thriller. 

The buildup and tension are great. The reveal and ending though are quite meh.

Still, it's a recommend watch by me. Even if just for the initial thrill and tension. And the discussion on Christianity.

Heretic is a 2024 American horror film, written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. It stars Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East and Hugh Grant.
